Forensics, Inc and other companies. Electronic evidence must be properly
handled at every stage or it can easily become tainted or worse,
inadmissible. Our personnel are specifically trained in the proper handling
of electronic evidence and our evidence handling processes mirror those we
implemented to meet the stringent requirements of the federal government and
the law enforcement community. We meet or exceed the requirements set forth
in the Federal Rules of Evidence, Department of Justice guidelines,
and the industry’s best practices.
ON-SITE SERVICE
All of our evidence personnel are trained to respond
to your specific needs in each case. We recognize that it is not always
possible (or desirable) for you to submit the electronic evidence directly
to our computer forensics lab. Not only will our personnel provide for
on-site collection from locations that you specify, but we will help you
understand other locations where relevant data may reside.
CHAIN OF CUSTODY / EVIDENCE PRESERVATION
Using our tested methodologies, we will ensure that
all of the electronic evidence is properly logged and accounted for so that
your evidence is fully admissible in any court of law. This is a part of how
we do business, not an added cost for you. Our computer forensics lab holds
a Department of Defense Top Secret facility clearance, so you know your
evidence is safe and secure.
